On the occasion of the meeting of EU Housing Ministers, which will take place in
Paris (September 25 & 26, 2000), French residents associations, associations
for the right to housing and Habitat International Coalition (HIC Europe Focal
Point) organize a mobilization and several events in Paris.
On September 24, 2000, in the afternoon, organizations for the defense of the
inadequately housed and of homeless, call for a demonstration. The meeting place
and itinerary will be made available later.
On Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th, residents associations also organize in Paris a
European meeting on housing issues. The detailed program will be available
within the next few days. However, you can sign the call for mobilization (attached),
which was drafted by the participants in Local Heroes 21 (Berlin, July 2-3,
2000). You can also fill out and return the pre-registration form for the
meeting, which will allow us to better assess the needs regarding accommodation
and transportation funding.

All the habitants' associations, the tenant unions, the habitant co-operatives,
the ong the researches, as well as the single individuals are freely invited to
